Virtual Wellness Consultation
If you have concerns about your child’s physical development but can’t make it in for an evaluation, a virtual wellness consultation may be perfect for you. Together, we can assess how your child is currently doing, then discuss strategies to improve their motor skills and mobility.

In Clinic Evaluation/Treatment
I will provide a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation of your child (45-60 min.) and together we will develop a treatment plan to meet you and your child’s needs. Treatment sessions will be 45-50 minutes and you will be provided with strategies to carry over at home between visits.

Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic physical therapy is a great way for your child to build strength and endurance while having fun in the pool. Water allows children to move more easily and demonstrate increased independence. Aquatic therapy can be a beneficial addition to regular PT sessions to help your child achieve their goals.

Heather Switz
I have been a pediatric physical therapist for 27 years, specializing in kids ages birth to ten. I have now decided to open my own practice to expand my ability to help children in the Fond du Lac, WI area and beyond. I am extremely passionate about helping kids gain independence and reach their fullest potential. As a parent, you know your child best. If you have concerns about your child’s gross motor development, I can help you!

Why me?
My passion is figuring out WHY your child is struggling with their motor skills/mobility and assisting them in achieving the next step. I also highly value the parent’s role in assisting their child with development and believe in providing you with the knowledge and strategies to do so.

Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm
Friday: 8am – 2pm
Billing
I am able to accept cash/checks, credit, debit, FSA or HSA cards. You are able to enter card information securely online during the intake process. No-shows and cancelations within 24 hours of your appointment time will be charged at the full rate unless your child is sick or other extenuating circumstances exist. I do not accept insurance; however, I will provide a detailed invoice you may submit to your insurance if desired. If your insurance offers reimbursement for out-of-network services, you may need a physicians referral. Please reach out to your insurance provider to see what is needed if you wish to seek reimbursement per your benefit plan. I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of therapy for your child after we discuss your child’s needs.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
